Achievement
He was then in Year-2002 worked in Motorola Semiconductor Kuala Lumpur (currently known as Freescale Semiconductor Malaysia (M) Sdn. Bhd.) as Senior Test Engineer and within 2 years he promoted to senior staff engineer to engage extensively in process, yield and productivity improvement.
In which he successfully stabilized one of the most important platform in the Motorola Kuala Lumpur factory.
With his vast experience in product and test engineering and some successful achievement, SYLee was then offered to head the NPI (New Product Introduction) department as head of department cum engineering manager and head of engineers for NPI team. He managed a group of product and test engineers in the factory for all new product introduction activities for Motorola Semiconductor Kuala Lumpur.
After one year, Year-2007, SYLee was given another task to head the Test-System Engineering team, as NPI cum Test-System Engineering manager. In his additional tasks, he managed a group of system engineers, ATE application engineers and system admin team, he in charge of various projects across 3 geographical continents as well as few sub-cond houses.
SYLee is Motorola Six Sigma Green Belt certified. He also conducted ATE and tester training in Motorola and in charge to train the new engineers for various engineering activities. He successfully led few teams to develop the Gage RR project, training and development for Freescale Semiconductor factories.
SYLee was invited to join IRIS Corporation in Sept 2009 and is the head of R&D department (R&D Manager) in charge to revolutionize all technical activities in IRIS Corporation. He is the trainer for all technical cum manufacturing program for IRIS staff, including engineers, managers and department head. SYLee in charge to train those staff in DMAIC, SPC, 8D, FMEA, quality system, GRR and other manufacturing best practices. He also played the consultation roles for all technical and manufacturing process in IRIS.
