This Supervisory Development course provides participants with strategies for effective supervision, and the skills and knowledge required to lead a team or work group in a business environment. This course includes developing plans, providing leadership and supervising the performance of a work team.

Mr. Muru brings along 20 years of work experience from the corporate and manufacturing industries, HR & People Management, Operations Management, Quality Management and other fields to bear in his training programs. Muru specializes in areas such as Leadership, Human Resources, Training & Development, Talent Management, and Employee & Industrial Relations.

CORPORATE EXPERIENCE
He has substantial work experience in several big industries such as semiconductor, automotive & electronics at an operations management level and Human Resource & Quality Management. His wealth of experience has given him great insights and firsthand experience in People Management and Operations & Quality Management for thousands of employees. He is also very well versed in Malaysian Employment Law (both EA55 & IRA67) and has conducted many HR & IR training related to these industries.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT AND CONTRIBUTIONS

During his tenure in Tritex Container (Logistics), his biggest achievement was reviewing the entire Operation Department process with tremendous cost efficiency and reduction of error and rejection rates. The company’s operations became leaner, more efficient and cost efficient.

Mr Muru was also involved in an additional 6 Sigma projects that resulted in big cost saving measures to the companies he served.

Among phenomenal project under his belt during his time there is Akademi Fantasia 1, 2 and 3, El Classico and many more. His role as a Presentation director in airing live telecasts required him to always to make crucial call and tough decision making as to ensure the smoothness of the events. This grueling role sharpen his Decision, Leadership, Creativity and People Management Skills.

In 2005, the opportunity for him to make a new leap in his career come calling. Leaving ASTRO was among the toughest call. As a person, he was known as a person who always ready to take and face new challenges. He joined one of the country’s top financial institution as a Unit Trust Consultant and never look back. Steadily he rose to the occasion in 2009 when he was appointed as Agency Manager (AM) with huge numbers of associates in which he trained and develop under his wing.

He won numerous awards in sales and leadership during his time there. His passion to train and adding values to others people’s life is the keystone that keeps him going strongly. He was awarded the Certified Associate Master Trainer (AMT) title from Dr Lawrence Walter Ng Train The Trainer’s Academy in 2007 in recognition of his hard work and dedication in ensuring the people around him will always receive high quality training and education.
