Duglas, a Malaysian, prior to being a trainer cum consultant, held the position as Regional QC Manager, for a leading European Investor. Key responsibilities were to conduct Quality Control Audits for Companies or businesses which were targeted to be acquired or invested anywhere around the globe. Additionally, he was responsible to carry out re-engineering and restructuring for product or process reliability for the group of companies.
Duglas was head hunted by “International Head-hunter” and was doing the above from November 2007 until January 2013. During this tenure, he took up assignments with extensive travel to Thailand, Philippines, Laos, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Dubai, India, Sri Lanka, Africa, Canada, Germany, France, Switzerland and many Middle-East countries. This made his career very suitable and adaptable to cross cultures, which adds to his advantage as a trainer cum consultant.
His expertise started with Panasonic (M) for 23 years where he was groomed and grew to a Quality orientated person. His last position held was QC Manager.
Duglas obtained his Doctorate in Business Administration from Riviera University, France, majoring in “Incorporating Total Quality Management to innovate, manage change and critically think of enhancing Customer Satisfaction”.
His world of experience, expertise and knowledge in the chosen field has made him an authority in Quality Management. He conducts a big list of quality-related and soft-skill programs and to list a few are:
